What we collect
We do not ask for your name or email, and the site code does not set cookies of its own. External services still receive browser requests, as described below.
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a free tool that uses no cookies and does not build visitor profiles. It tells us which pages are read and where visitors come from, as totals only.
Hosting
The site is not live yet. The hosting provider and its log retention details are not confirmed here. This notice needs those details before launch.
Fonts
The text on this site uses fonts loaded from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which see your IP address. Google describes this in its Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
Images
The book artwork is drawn with code and served from this site. No image is loaded from another company’s server.
Affiliate links and store cookies
Store buttons open searches on Audible, Amazon Kindle, Kobo and Bookshop.org. Some links may include affiliate tracking. See the store-link disclosure; this page does not confirm program approval or an application.
When you click a store link, that store may set cookies in your browser to record that you came from this site, so that a purchase can be credited to us. We never see what you buy or who you are; at most we see a count of clicks and orders. Each store has its own privacy policy, which applies from the moment you land there.
Newsletter
There is no newsletter signup yet. When we open one, this page will explain which service holds the addresses and how to unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can block third-party requests (fonts, covers, store cookies) with your browser settings or a content blocker. The site stays readable without them.
